Medic: Two students, driver injured in crash involving CMS bus

MEDIC: 1 injured in crash that blocked Independence Blvd.

Emergency crews have closed the inbound lanes of Independence Blvd. in east Charlotte after a crash early Wednesday morning. All but one lane was closed inbound between Albemarle Road and Eastway Drive after the wreck around 5:45 a.m. MEDIC told Channel 9 one person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life threatening injuries in the crash.
