Efrain Contreras Suarez, 46 of San Bernardino is being charged by the District Attorney's Office with two counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of child endangerment and one count of recklessly causing a fire with great bodily injury. A Fontana man was arrested on suspicion of carjacking on Thursday, Feb. 12, after a woman said he stole her vehicle after threatening her. Victor Alfonzo Pineda, 25, was booked into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana police said. About 12:15 a.m. Thursday, a man confronted the victim, a 41-year-old Colton resident, as she left work. The man took the vehicle and was arrested nearby. Kory Kreshon Parker, 43, of Adelanto was arrested around 8 a.m. Tuesday. Police say he stole $45,000 in the middle of the night on Aug. 6 from an automotive transportation business in the 16000 block of Harbor Boulevard in Fountain Valley. An employee left the business at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 6, and the cash inside the company's safe was stolen sometime between then and when another employee showed up at 8:30 a.m. the next day, Fountain Valley police Sgt.
