Suge Knight Was Physically Assaulted Prior To Hit-And-Run, According To Cle "Bone" Sloan

According to the New York Daily News, Cle "Bone" Sloan -- the first man to be struck by the former CEO of Death Row Records -- told the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department that he had physically assaulted Knight prior to being allegedly run over by his truck. The New York Daily News says that according to the account he gave police, Sloan was walking away when he heard someone say, "Look out!" He said he was trying to turn around but was quickly struck by Knight's Ford F-150 Raptor truck. There's no reason Mr. Knight should be in jail.

Hit-and-run victim says he assaulted Suge Knight

"I f----d him up!" former gang member Cle Sloan told an investigator with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, according to the report from a confidential source. "Sloan said he contacted Knight and began to punch him through the driver side window," the report stated. "Sloan stated Knight tried to exit the red Ford but was stopped by his punches," the report continued. Knight drove back over Sloan during the exit and also mowed down Carter, killing the 55-year-old married dad. "There's no reason Mr. Knight should be in jail.

Music Video Producer Goes Missing

Raymond Tremaine Collins, who goes by Ray Rich, was last seen by his family about 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15 when he left his home in Chino to meet a friend in Compton to discuss filming a music video for the following day, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials said. Collins was seen leaving the area of Alondra Boulevard and Dwight Avenue about 2 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 16 in his Toyota Camry. About one hour later, a witness saw a man get out of the Camry in the 400 block of Raymond Street. Collins has ties to the Compton area.

Fire damages Compton market

COMPTON - Fire damaged the roof of a Compton market this morning, authorities reported. Firefighters were sent to Chester and Rosecrans avenues around 1 a.m., said a Compton Fire Department official. They put out the fire in about 10 minutes, he said. It appears the fire started by a pole and spread up the pole to portions of the roof, the official said.

2 Girls Struck in Shooting at Compton Home

Four people were shot, including two girls, at a gathering in Compton Sunday morning, officials said. The shooting was reported just before 12:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of West Alondra Boulevard, according to a Los Angeles Sheriff's Department spokesman. At least 30 people were at the home where the shooting took place, but it was not immediately clear what led to the shooting. The girls were taken to the hospital, where one, who was shot in the torso, was undergoing surgery at about 5:30 a.m., the spokesman said.
