Lewisville is located in northeastern Texas. Incorporated in 1925, it is one of the oldest incorporated cities in northern Texas. Until the late 1970s Lewisville remained a small rural town with only a few thousand people. In 1962 the television series, Route 66, filmed the episode "Love is a Skinny Kid," starring Tuesday Weld, in Lewisville. The episode's plot revolved around an evil town.
