Two arrested after Westminster police bust hash oil lab

Narcotics detectives have arrested two men after dismantling a hash oil lab in Westminster, police said. Taylor Campbell, 31, and Denny Tran, 30, both of Westminster, were arrested and face felony charges of possession of hash oil for sale and manufacturing a controlled substance. "This type of operation is extremely dangerous," Westminster Police Cmdr. Police targeting risky intersection

That's because the intersection of Bolsa Avenue and Goldenwest Street, just east of the mall, has one of the highest rates of traffic collisions in Westminster, police say. Daniel Lee Duvall, 37, is accused of fatally shooting Frank Duvall, 56, of Westminster, after men got into an argument Sunday evening at a birthday party for the younger man's girlfriend, Tina Pauline Arbogast, 48. Around 10 p.m. at the party at Arbogast's house, Duvall and his uncle began arguing, and at some point, he produced a gun, police said. Duvall left on his motorcycle, and were arrested in a Canyon Lake gated community two days later. Arbogast faces up to three years. Their new arraignment date is scheduled for April 10.

The arrest of Siringoringo, 34, of the Siringoringo Law Firm, and an alleged co-conspirator, Joshua Michael Cobb, 32, of Upland, was announced Thursday by the San Bernardino County District Attorney's office. Five months later, San Bernardino County investigators served search warrants at five Siringoringo Law Firm and Clausen & Cobb Management company locations. Siringoringo admitted to 14 cases, and agreed to provide clients refunds of $1,500 to $5,970, the state court said.

Two men suspected of Westminister man's murder arrested

The relative of a 56-year-old man found dead in a parked car in Westminster was arrested Wednesday evening in Canyon Lake, police said. Daniel Duvall and another suspect were arrested without incident, said Westminister Police Cmdr. Frank Duvall was found by police at 10 p.m. on Monday at the 1500 block of Topaz Street with traumatic injuries. An autopsy is scheduled for this week, according to the Orange County coroner. No further details on the case were available late Wednesday.

A robbery attempt in a parking lot at the Bella Terra shopping center, Huntington Beach police said. Ryan Vothanhdat Nguyen, 18, of Huntington Beach and Anthony Michael Villasenor, 19, of Westminster were arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit a crime, police said. Both are being held in Orange County Jail with bond set at $50,000, according to the county Sheriff's Department. Man who was attacked was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover, police said.
